With New Year’s Eve just around the corner, so is our Nieuwjaarsborrel which will take place again next month. We found a unique location for this event which is the Ukama Gallery that welcomes us. This beautiful gallery is located on Granville Island. While enjoying a snack and a beverage, you can admire sculptures of Zimbabwe and paintings of local artists. A cozy and warm place to wish each other all the best for 2023!
Join us on Friday, January 13 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at this beautiful location. When you purchase a ticket, you have a chance to win one of the special sculptures in the gallery. The Gallery opened its doors on Granville Island in February 2015. Specializing in original stone sculptures and represents over 200 highly skilled emerging and world-renowned artists from Zimbabwe. Complementing the sculpture collection are painted and mixed media artwork from Canadian artists.
The room can accommodate 50 people. As a member of the DBC you have the first opportunity to purchase a ticket to join us in this special celebration. With a limited number of places available, it is advisable to get your tickets quickly. You can purchase your tickets here.
